BIOGRAPHY
Physician Chen Shuang Xia graduated from the Chang Chun University of TCM with a Bachelor of Medicine (Chinese herbal medicine) in 1988, and was also awarded a Bachelor Degree in TCM by the Singapore College of TCM and Guangzhou University of TCM. Physician Chen completed vocational training at the Chengdu University of TCM which included training with renown Professor Liao Pin Dong in the areas of post-partum care, lactation and breast care and paediatric tuina. With prior clinical practice at the Chang Chun Angiopathy Faculty Hospital, Physician Chen has over 20 years of clinical experience. Physician Chen sees general conditions, internal medicine diseases involving the digestive and respiratory systems, gynaecology conditions, menopausal syndrome, dermatology diseases etc. She also uses a combination of herbal medication and acupuncture to manage pain conditions and is an advocate of using natural therapy such as paediatric tuina for the treatment and body conditioning of young children.
